Raja Srinivas’s professional foundation is rooted in strong technical and managerial qualifications. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Production Engineering from Osmania University, he later became a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineers. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and has built proficiency across project execution, operations, maintenance, warranty administration, technical services, contract management, sales, tendering, and procurement.
Over the years, his work has taken him to numerous countries for official meetings, training programs, international seminars, and specialized workshops. His ability to solve critical issues with clarity and precision has earned him recognition and respect. His contributions led to awards for excellence and timely completion of projects between 2012 and 2020.

His path to leadership began in 1994, when he joined a major fertilizer group as a Project Management Trainee. Although he had been selected for a commissioned rank in the Indian Navy, he chose to remain close to his hometown and pursue a corporate career. Soon after, he discovered his true calling in the energy sector, working with MAN Diesel Power Plants and MAN Energy Solutions. Between 1995 and 2008, he played an instrumental role in implementing more than 150 projects across India and overseas for captive power generation.

His move to the Middle East in 2009 marked a turning point. He led the development of the region’s first 85 MW IPP project, which began commercial operations in 2010. This milestone strengthened his resolve to build sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy solutions for remote regions.
The founding idea behind his current ventures grew from the scarcity of power in remote parts of the Middle East. Promoters of the company aimed to establish power plants that could supply reliable electricity to public utilities and new industrial units. In 2010, Sabson, backed by leading investors and international development funds, launched the successful initiative that delivered the first 85 MW project in Yemen. The group has since expanded into more than fifteen diversified companies.
